šU.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality 2009

The group Long Term Care Insurance (LTC) Plan, underwritten by Prudential, gives you or a family member the opportunity to purchase coverage that helps pay for the high cost of care should you or a family member not be able to care for yourself. This type of coverage is not just for the elderly. In reality, long-term care needs can affect anyone, at any time, at any age as the result of an accident or unexpected illness. The benefit helps pay for care received in the home, assisted living facilities, adult day care centers and nursing homes.

It is never too early to enroll in long-term care insurance because the younger you are when you purchase it, the lower your rates will be, and you lock in those lower rates.

If you are a new hire you can enroll within 30 days of eligibility without providing proof of good health.

You and your family members, including your spouse, parents and grandparents, may enroll any time during the year with proof of good health.
